Custom Illustrations

Sow True Seeds is a small business local to Asheville, NC. They provide open-pollinated, heirloom and organic vegetable, herb, and flower seeds to enthusiastic home gardeners and small market farmers.

The illustrations are specifically for five pole bean varieties and were inspired by the hand sewn, home grown nature of the company's vision. 

Illustrations were provided by design.jmk and implemented into the company’s internally designed packet template.

The illustrations accompany a children's alphabet book featuring a scatterbrained lead character (Mrs. McGillicutty) and her very expressive letters.

Design and organization of Music Is Elementary’s annual catalog featuring 150+ pages and 2,000+ products. Music Is Elementary provides instruments, music texts, and lesson plans to elementary schools and other music professionals.

Custom Illustrations by design.jmk are featured on the catalog cover, as well as other collateral items throughout the year.

Distributed as a digital catalog only, it also features hyperlinks on each product image and text that takes the user directly to the Music Is Elementary website for purchasing.
